Did you know Dr. Taylor spent her early years on the street with her hard-working parents? She received so much kindness from strangers and friends who ensured the little kid was never hungry. She has learned to pay it forward for the love she could never repay. Her parents have brought people together to donate rice, food, and supplies for the elderly without family and children left on the street...

Everyone, the owners of noodle soup stalls, vegetable sellers, fish preppers, and coffee shop owners, cheered her on as she went to school and (actually) did okay. Encouraged by all the support from her community, she pushed forward and became the first in her family to graduate from college. 

Even to this day, she still believes she may not be genetically smart, so she always works and studies hard. Expertise is not born but built with practice and learning. That's the foundation of Java Acupuncture, a community of individuals (providers, staff, and patients) who care for and support each other to do well and feel well.

WHY IS THE NAME JAVA?

Dr. Taylor loves all things coffee and Java also happens to be one of the programming languages she liked in her former life as a software engineer.
